How do I place my order?
To place your order on-line simply choose the item you want to purchase and click on the 'Add To Basket' button, you will then be taken automatically through the order process. You will be required to enter your personal details for your first order, you will then have the option of setting up your own account. Our site uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to provide encryption so you never need to worry about your personal information being intercepted and misused.

What payment methods to you offer?
At Eldon Electricals we offer 2 ways to pay.
- You can use most major credit and debit cards
- You can send a cheque through the post
How much is the delivery charge?
Our delivery charges are based on customer location. You can check these charges by clicking on the Delivery Options tab located within the More Details section of every product and inputting your postcode.
How long will I have to wait for delivery?
Most products can be delivered within 3 to 10 days of your order being accepted, however some items are delivered direct by the manufacturer and may take longer. Delivery times are clearly stated on each product.
Can I collect my order?
Collection is available on specified products. When you have added your chosen item to the shopping cart you can then see if collection is an option.
You can collect your purchase from our Warehouse in Huddersfield. Collections from our Warehouse are normally available within 48 hours of placing your order, however it can take up to 5 working days from acceptance of your order.

When collecting your goods please ensure you bring with you the following:
- Order Confirmation received by email on order completion.
- The payment card that was used to purchase the goods.
- Two forms of identification:
- One of the forms of ID must display a photograph, such as a passport or driver's licence.
- The second form of ID should verify your address, a utility bill, credit card or bank statement will be sufficient.
Please note: the goods can only be collected by the person who placed the order. Our collection depot is open Monday to Friday only
Can I cancel my order?
You may cancel your order at any time between the placement of the order and 7 days following delivery of the goods. Should you wish to return your goods for any reason, you must contact our customer service department within 7 days of delivery to arrange collection. This collection will be at your expense. Any money which you have paid will be refunded less the original delivery and collection charges within 30 days provided that we receive your goods in as new condition and in undamaged original packaging with all accessories and components. A full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and will only be authorised after a full inspection of the goods by ourselves. Any items returned that do not conform to these conditions will be subject to a surcharge or will be retuned to you at your expense.
Can you install my new appliance?
Currently we can install washing machines and dishwashers and the charges will be noted with each item within the website. Please note, installation can only be carried out to an exisiting point and no alterations to your plumbing or extensions to pipe work will be carried out. Please note, we will not disconnect any old appliance. Please ensure your old appliance is disconnected prior to delivery, failure to do so will result in us being unable to install your new machine.
Can you remove my old appliance?
For a small charge, we can arrange for your old product to be removed and disposed of by our specialist contractor. You can select any of these services when placing your order online or over the telephone. The list below shows our pricing structure.
- Laundry Appliances (Washers, Dryer, Dishwashers etc.) £15.00
- Refrigeration Appliances £20.00
- Side by Side American Refrigeration £25.00
- Cooking Appliances £15.00
- Range Cookers £20.00
Please note that in order for your old appliance to be removed it must be disconnected from the supply. Fridge Freezers must be fully defrosted prior to delivery.
Do you offer extended warranty?
We offer extended warranty on selected appliances and the cost will be indicated with the product. Please see our Extended Warranty page for full terms and conditions.
My Product is faulty, what do I do?
Firstly you should check the 'Troubleshooting' section in your instruction manual which can help you solve basic problems. If you continue to experience difficulties you can request a service call by clicking on the 'Request A Service Call' button on our home page. Alternatively you can contact our customer service department on 0845 373 5254 between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday.

How do you use my personal information?
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Date Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons, firstly to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not pass your details to other companies and organisations unless you give prior consent.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

- Your Credit/Debit Card Details.
We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you be emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
We store information about you using cookies (files which are sent by us to your computer or other access device) which we can access when you visit our site in future. We do this to track the contents of your shopping basket through the store and for marketing purposes.
