These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the Eldon Electricals website. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference. They do not affect your statutory rights. Using this site indicates your acceptance of these terms.
These terms may change at any time. Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted onto the site, date below. You will be required to read and accept these terms and conditions prior to confirming your order, we advise you read the terms each time you place an order to ensure you are aware of any changes.

Typographical and input errors are correctable up until you submit your order. Once your order has been submitted you will be issued with an order confirmation, which will confirm your order details and reference number by email. This process is irrespective of whether your order was placed on-line or by telephone. Please be aware this confirmation does not constitute order acceptance. Order acceptance and the formation of a legally binding contract between yourself and Eldon Electricals will only occur upon despatch of your goods.
We will inform you if your payment can not be authorised or if your order has been declined, in these cases it maybe suggested that you visit our store to complete your transaction.
PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and include VAT but exclude delivery and/or installation charges. Delivery and/or installation charges will be shown clearly in the shopping basket prior to your submitting your order.
Prices, offers and products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable we will offer an alternative or full refund.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained within this site, occasionally an error could occur. If an error is discovered in the price or description of an item you have ordered, you will be contacted immediately and given the choice of weather to continue at the alternative price or cancel your order.
Payment is due on submitting your order.
DELIVERY, RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS.
Where an order contains more that one item, all items will be delivered at the same time once all items are available
Delivery can only be made to a mainland UK address. We only deliver from Monday to Friday, we do not deliver on weekends. All delivery bookings will be advised by telephone and confirmed by email. Our delivery company uses larger vehicles, 7.5ton and above, please ensure there is adequate access for the vehicle which is not restricted by low bridges or narrow lanes. Please ensure there is adequate unrestricted parking and unloading facilities for our vehicles, our drivers are instructed not to park on double yellow lines or in any other restricted areas, in this case the delivery will fail and a charge will be levied for this.
We guarantee delivery to your ground floor doorstep, our drivers will endevour to deliver into the room of your choice but only if they feel it is safe for them to do so and will not cause harm to themselves, the goods or your property.
All delivery lead times shown on this web site are estimated and relate to working days only.
You will be contacted by telephone and/or email to confirm your delivery date, once a delivery date has been agreed you must be present on this date to take delivery. If for any reason you become unavailable to take delivery please contact our customer service department as soon as possible, in any case no later than 2 working days in advance, other wise we reserve the right to levy a second delivery charge to cover the cost of the failed delivery.
It is your responsibility to ensure the item(s) you have ordered will pass through all access points in your home whilst still packaged. Once delivery has been made to your door you will be responsible for them. The delivery drivers will not be responsible for placing the item in the room of your choice if they do not feel it is safe for them to do so, in this case the appliance will be left at your door. You must inspect your goods and make a note on the delivery document if there are any shortages or damages. If you have not received all of your order or an item is damaged and have noted this on the delivery document it is then your responsibility to inform us within 7 working days for shortages or 48 hours for damages, from the time of delivery. We will not accept responsibility for goods reported as missing or damaged if the delivery document has been signed by yourself and no note has been made. A replacement item would normally take as long to deliver as a new order.
If goods are refused at the time of delivery and this is not due to a mechanical fault or damage, the full delivery and return charges will be passed to yourself. Please contact our sales office to be advised of these charges.
If you are reporting goods as delivered damaged, digital images of the damage will be required. We are unable to process any damage claims without images.
The delivery team can not remove appliance or property doors to enable the appliance to pass through your access points. If the item is too big whilst still packaged it will be left at your door, it will then become your responsibility.
You may cancel your order at any time between the placement of the order and 7 days from the day after delivery. We offer a money back guarantee. To receive a full refund you must return the goods with original packaging in as new and unused condition. We can also arrange for a collection service, the charge for collection is £75, except for poscode areas PH, PA, KW, AB, DD and KY, the collection price for these ares is available on request. Should you wish to return your goods for any reason, you must contact our customer service department in writing within 7 days of delivery. Any money which you have paid will be refunded within 30 days. A full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and will only be authorised after a full inspection of the goods by ourselves. Any items returned that do not conform to these conditions will be subject to a surcharge or will be retuned to you at your expense.
We will endeavour to meet any date agreed for delivery, however we will not accept liability for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivery of the goods.
REMOVING OLD APPLIANCES
If you have requested that your old appliance is removed, please ensure it is disconnected from any water/electric/gas supply and empty of all contents. If we are collecting an item of refrigeration please ensure the item has been fully defrosted. Failure to meet these conditions will result in our being unable to remove the appliance. We can only collect your old appliance at the same time as delivering the new appliance, if the appliance is not available for collection at the time of delivery, re-collection will not be arranged and any disposal charge paid will not be refunded, it will then be your responsibility to dispose of your old appliance.
If you have requested installation for your washing machine, washer dryer or dishwasher, please note that we can install to an exisiting supply point only. No alterations to your plumbing or extensions to pipe work etc will be carried out.
Please note, we may not be able to disconnect all type of appliance. Please ensure your old appliance is disconnected prior to delivery, failure to do so will result in us being unable to install your new machine.
TITLE AND RISK

Title of the product will pass to you once you have received the goods and we have received full and cleared payment.
All product information which includes images and dimensions have been obtained by the product manufacturers. We endeavour to ensure all information is as up to date and accurate as possible, however, on occasions an error can occur and we suggest that you visit the manufacturers web site for full detailed specification. All accessories supplied with a product are subject to change or upgrade at the manufacturers discretion. We will supply the product as supplied to us by the manufacturer. All products supplied by Eldon Electricals will carry a full manufacturers guarantee for a minimum period of one year and in some cases up to ten years. The guarantee must be registered with the manufacturers using the guarantee card enclosed with the appliance, failure to register could invalidate your warranty. The manufacturers guarantee period will be clearly indicated with each product. All servicing and repairs must be carried out by the manufacturers own authorised repair agents, their contact numbers can be found on the ‘Request a service call’ page on the Eldon Electricals site. Should your appliance acquire a fault, in the first instance please refer to the troubleshooting guide in the instruction manual supplied with your product, should you still require assistance please refer to the ‘Request a service call’ page within our site and either use the service contact telephone numbers supplied or complete the email form provided. A service engineer will call to your home to inspect and repair your appliance. If the fault with your appliance is found to have been caused by incorrect or poor installation, the manufacturer or their agent may levy a callout charge. In the rare event that your appliance is found to be irreparable a replacement item will be offered. No exchanges or refunds will be offered against faulty appliances without the product first being inspected by an authorised repair agent. Please note all installations should be carried out by qualified persons only in accordance with the manufacturers guarantee. The appliance manufacturers and Eldon Electricals will not guarantee any item in non domestic premises.
These terms and conditions and all transactions relating to this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.

We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply.
